SOUTHERN UNION
AMBASSADOR
As a college Ambassador I learned a lot about my school, the community around me, my classmates, and myself. While being an Ambassador, I partook in many events and activities that made my college experience so special, but with this, came a large amount of responsibility. Not only was I required to obtain a certain GPA per semester, I was also required to be professional on and off campus, setting a good example for the peers around me.
While off campus, I attended several College and Career Fairs, informing high school students about Southern Union, what our focus point was, what classes and programs were offered, and what was so special about the college, as well as answering any questions they may have had. On campus activities were a big part of my job. Giving tours to students and parents who were looking to be informed more about Southern Union, and wanted to see the campus, was a special part of this program. While on campus, I also attended President and facility meetings as a greeter, and conducted campus tours to parents and students, while informing them about campus services and program opportunities available.
