Work experience and volunteer work is an important part of my life that allows me to prepare for my career. While working at Friendship Childcare Center, volunteering at BigHouse, and Interning for the College of Human Sciences Academic Affairs Office, I learned many valuable lessons and reasons why I want to pursue a career as an Academic Advisor. Working as a team with others to complete task and connect closer to the people around me, helped me find my true calling and showed me many reasons why working to help people find their path in life is the perfect career for me. The experiences and lessons I learned from working with other organizations helped me better prepare myself for the future.
